Bani Israel

Story of Holy Land

The history of the Bani Israel, in which I will tell you the story of about 1000 years from Suleiman A.S. to Essa A.S.

But why?
What is the link of Bani Israel with us?
What does the history of Bani Israel have to do with us?
What is the connection with us?
You’ll get to know all these answers in this blog.
Hazrat Abdullah bin Abbas, may Allah be pleased with him,
Narrated Abu Sa`id: The Prophet said, you will follow the wrong ways, of your predecessors so completely and literally that if they should go into the hole of a mastigure, you too will go there. We said, O Allah’s Apostle! Do you mean the Jews and the Christians? He replied, Whom else? (Meaning, of course, the Jews and the Christians.)
(Bukhari 3456, Musnad e Ahmed 345, Tirmizi 2641)
You can imagine from above Hadith How much it is important to know about these two nations. You just keep this hadith in your mind in this whole article.
Their Past shows us our Present, their end teaches us our lesson and their penalties and punishments show us our mistakes.

I want you all to read this Carefully, and Understand that How Allah Subhan wa Tallah sent the cruel people on them because of their Bad Deeds.
Then we will look at ourselves that What we actually did and who is going to rule us.
When Hazrat Suleiman (A.S) finished building Bayt al-Maqdis (Masjid Al-Aqsa), he asked Allah for three things: Judgement that was in harmony with His judgement, a dominion that none after him would have, and that no one should come to this Masjid, intending only to pray there, but he would emerge as free of sin as the day his mother bore him. (Ref: Sunan an-Nasa’i 693)
The Prophet (SAW) then said,
“Two prayers were granted, and I hope that the third was also granted” (Ibn Majah)
But,
What is Bayt al-Maqdis?
The Masjid-e-Aqsa we have seen on Media, Umar bin Khattab (R.A) built that, but Hazrat Suleiman made this Dua before 1500 years ago of Umer bin Khattab.
Now, let us explain what is Bayt al-Maqdis? Why it is important? Who actually built it?
Al-Aqsa presented in Jerusalem, (Al-Aqsa means the farthest) and it’s another name is Aleyah. Also, this place belongs to the 1st Ayat of Surah Isra
“Exalted is He who took His Servant by night from al-Masjid al-Haram to al-Masjid al- Aqsa, whose surroundings We have blessed, to show him of Our signs. Indeed, He is the Hearing, the Seeing.” (Surat Al-Isra 17:01)
Al-Aqsa is not only the name of Masjid. Umar bin Khatab (R.A) build that masjid.
The place is more historical and has its importance.
Abuzar (R.A) asked Prophet (SAW) “”O Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ)! Which mosque was first built on the surface of the earth?” He said, “Al- Masjid-ul-,Haram (in Mecca).” I said, “Which was built next?” He replied “The mosque of Al-Aqsa ( in Jerusalem) .” I said, “What was the period of construction between the two?” He said, “Forty years.” He added, “Wherever (you may be, and) the prayer time becomes due, perform the prayer there, for the best thing is to do so (i.e. to offer the prayers in time). (Sahih al-Bukhari 3366)
First Mosque was Masjid-ul-Haram (means Kaaba which was built by Hazrat Ibrahim (a.s) then Masjid-e-Aqsa, built by Hazrat Yaqoob (a.s) (Grandson of Hazrat Ibrahim a.s) and there is a difference of forty years between the construction of these 2 Masjids.
After Yaqoob (a.s) a long time period has been passed, Aal-e-Yaqoob migrated to Hazrat Yousuf (a.s) at Egypt. Then Eventually they became servants of Firoon, after this Hazrat Moosa (a.s) led the Israelites out of Egypt and Yusha ibn Nun (Joshua) took the coffin (Taboot-e-Sakina) to Jerusalem (Homeland of Israel).
Dawood (a.s) united the 12 tribes of bani Israel for the first time, made Jerusalem the capital then Hazrat Suleiman (a.s) for the first time appointed the Bayt-al-Maqdis as a place of worship and kept Taboot-e-Sakina there.

But how much is the area of Bayt-al-Maqdis?
Bukhari 3886, Muslim 45 and Mishqaat 5866, Hadith mentioned in these 3 books that after the incident of Meraj, That he heard Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) saying, “When the people of Quraish did not believe me (i.e. the story of my Night Journey), I stood up in Al-Hijr and Allah displayed Jerusalem in front of me, and I began describing it to them while I was looking at it.”
Quraish denied Prophet (SAW) that How can one go from Makkah to Jerusalem in one night? And those people who already saw Bayt-al-Maqdis asked Prophet (SAW) tell us How’s the place is? Tell us about sutoon etc. Prophet (SAW) said, they asked me those things which I didn’t focused and I was worried a lot about that but Prophet (SAW) stood on Hateem and Allah displayed Bayt-al-Maqdis Infront of Prophet (SAW) .

Then Prophet (SAW) answered all the questions of Quraish.
Scholars evaluate the result from these that the place spread on 37 Acre is Bayt al-Maqdis which we called Al Quds, Aleyah and Al-Aqsa compound and temple mount too. This the place where on which 3 religions of the world have strong beliefs.
These 37 Acre Mountains covered with walls around it have so many important things inside.
For Muslim Bayt al-Maqdis is the world’s 3rd Holiest place that Allah told Al Aqsa (means Farthest Masjid)
At the same mountain Hazrat Suleiman (a.s) made his 1st Heikal, There is a rock on same hill called Sukhraa where Prophet (SAW) starts their Meraj Journey, On same rock Hazrat Suleiman (a,s) kept Taboot-e-Sakina. Right now there is a Golden dome on this rock which we called Dome of Sughra Or Dome of the Rock.

Masjid e Aqsa located on same hill which was built by Umer Bin Khattab (RA) and this is the First Qibla of Muslims where Prophet (SAW) offered prayers facing Bayt al-Maqdis after migration.
Narrated Al-Bara’ (bin ‘Azib):

This small structure, on the south-west corner of the Al-Aqsa is believed to be the place where the Prophet Muhammed (ﷺ) tied the Buraq, the riding animal upon which he rode during the Night of Ascension.
For Christians this the 2nd holiest place of world because according to them Hazrat Essa (a.s) hanged on same hill and they also believe, when Hazrat Essa (A.S) return, He will lead Christians from this place because he lives there and this is the same place where the son of Hazrat Zakariya (a.s), Hazrat Yahya (a.s) was born.
But,
For Jews, this is the Holiest place for them, their Kaaba, their Qibla, where there is only wall left on this hill now which is called Western Wall or Wailing Wall.

Worldwide jews worship facing this wall, they stand there and recite Torah. For 2000 years they cried for their damaged qibla. They don’t wear shoes when going to this hill. According to jews, this Dome of rock is the same rock where Hazrat Ibrahim (a.s) wanted to sacrifice his son, this is the same place where Hazrat Yaqoob (a.s) saw his dream, same place This is the place from where Adam’s sand was taken to make him and this the place where Hazrat Suleiman (a.s) made his 1st Heikal.
But really, it’s the same rock where Hazrat Suleiman (a.s) made his 1st Heikal?
